Thanks for stopping by, but it appears you are using a (very) old address for my blog. I've moved to a Wordpress site and you'll need to update your bookmarks for Books on the Knob

Save 50% on select Kindle covers (KSO)

This offer is only for those with the brand new $79 Kindle.

Save 50% on select Kindle covers at Amazon.com

Click on offer, then click on the link on the offer page to receive an email with the promotion code. Sign-up for this offer expires on November 8.

You'll get an email (right away), a link to the Kindle Special Offer page and a promotion code to enter at checkout. Once you have the promotional code, you have until November 30 to complete your purchase. Like previous offers, this one requires you to use the full checkout process in order to enter your promotional code. Also, like all Amazon sales that use promotional codes, if you have a gift card balance, you must use it for the payment (if there is not a sufficient balance, then you can pick which credit card or other payment to use).

Limit one offer per customer and per device.

If you have a Kindle and were frustrated by receiving the last cover offer for the Kindle Keyboard instead, then you'll be very happy to find that only you have this offer on your Kindle this morning. It's the one that should have been sent out to you in the first place, with covers that fit your device. Be sure to not the expiration date, as it is the same November 30 as the other offer. If you are a two-device family, that means you actually now have a code for both an Amazon cover for the KK and a third-party case for the K4 (most also fit the upcoming Touch) and, for a few of you, an additional credit from Amazon when you protested that the cover offer you received wasn't one you could use.

If you've been thinking about getting one of the new Kindles, you can probably get this delivered (with overnight or 2nd day delivery by the 8th) and sign up for the offer before it is over, letting you grab the cover at half price to go with it. Even the most expensive covers would then yield a total cost of under $100 for a back-up reader (with access to Special Offers) or as a gift. For those with Prime, you'd also be able to use it to access the new Kindle Lending Library (which requires a physical Kindle device, not an app).
