This offer showed up on all of my Kindles, even the Kindle 3's (with Keyboards). The skins that are on sale, though are only for the last two eInk models, the current "Kindle" (the baby, no keyboard and no touch) and the Kindle Touch. that said, there's nothing to prevent you from buying one for a Mother's day gift - just be sure to get one for the right model Kindle. There are some great patterns to choose from (I have the Abolisher skin on my K3 and it almost looks like it is 3-D).

The skins I checked on had another promotion going, as well (not limited to those with a KSO): Get 25% off on select reading lights, if purchased at the same time (both must be in the cart and ordered using the full checkout process). If you don't have a light in your cover, I can definitely recommend any of the Mighty Bright models (which I've even used on a DX, with it's larger screen). Well, it looks like the offers are definitely slowed down. This one is exactly one month after the last MP3 offer (for a classical crossover album). In between, we've had exactly four offers (other than the ever present and not so local AmazonLocal deals). Then again, that's better than the month before (which had three offers bunched up at the beginning, then nothing for three weeks).

I missed one of the classical albums I was considering on the last offer (it went up in price, nearly double from the beginning of the offer), but that doesn't appear to be an issue with the albums on this offer's list, as they all appear to be full price, currently. However, it looks like two of the choices are already "unavailable" (don't know if it is a geographic restriction or if they sold out at the discount price, so the selection may dwindle over the month the offer is valid (then again, one or two might drop in price at the beginning of next month, as The Greatest Journey - Essential Collection by Celtic Woman has done with the Classical offer, which means it is only $3 with the KSO credit, least for the next two days!

As a Leap Day special, Audible is having a Buy One Get One Free Sale for members that have a credit on their account. It does appear to be limited to those in the US and if you have the very, very old use-it-or-lose-it 2 credits a month sale, it doesn't seem to work for you either. For the rest of us, though, we can shop as many times as we have credits stored up in the special BOGO store, getting two books for the price of one! The cart in the special store allows only two books to be added at a time, then you click the Confirm button and check out.
