"The Righteous" Thriller Series, by Michael Wallace, for 99 cents each. I was lucky enough to get the first one as a review book, when it was self-published, but the entire series is now being published by Thomas & Mercer, one of Amazon's imprints, so it's probably been polished up a bit by the editors and is even better than before.
