Two Free Online Games for Kindle: Sudoku and Word Morph

Both of these online games from MobileReference are repeat freebies of a sort - they were a penny last year, so not quite free. Today they are truly free. Unlike the recent active content games from Amazon however, these are played on the internet, so do require some type of online access, either via wifi or 3G. For those using apps, however, this is an advantage, as they appear to be compatible with all the apps. If the destination web site ever disappears, though, they'll probably stop working. I know that having played the games from Amazon, I definitely prefer the active content games, instead.

Sudoku Volume 1

With Mobi Sudoku you can:

• Check your progress at any time. The number of wrong entries will be reported.
• Remove errors. Use it if you feel you made too many mistakes and want to keep your correct entries but remove incorrect ones.

• Reset the puzzle if you want to start over.
• Add a clue if you feel that you are stuck. A single number will be added to a randomly chosen empty cell.

Note: Whispernet wireless needs to be turned on when a new game is loaded. Once a game is loaded, wireless can be turned off to conserve battery power.

Word Morph Volume 1

Game Description
How do you make a flip from a flop? Obviously, by changing the i to an o. This is how you play Word Morph. At each step, you can change one letter to form a new word. The task is to transform the starting word one letter at a time until you spell the ending word.
