Stopping Time, Part 1, by Melissa Marr, is currently 99 cents to pre-order in the Kindle store, but the author says that it will be free upon release, which is March 16. Stopping Time, Part 2 is also available to pre-order for 99 cents (so far, I don't see any indication that this one will be free); combined, the two form a between-the-books sequel to Ink Exchange ($5.59), the second in her Wicked Lovely series, which continues with Fragile Eternity ($9.99 Kindle; releasing in paperback March 23).Part 1

Fictionwise doesn't have them for free, but you can pre-order Part 1 for a penny and Part 2 for between 42 and 84 cents (use March2010 for 10% off, club members get additional 15%).
