Three Books from Steeple Hill for $4

You can pick up all three of these books from Steeple Hill Books for less than four bucks. The publisher has several others at bargain prices (including some of the freebies reported earlier), in case you want more when you finish these, and (like these), most appear to be listed as Christian Romance or Christian Mystery/Romance.

Less Than Frank ($0.98), by Lynn Bulock

Book Description
My new job: Gracie Lee Harris, dead body finder. First, my con-man husband. Now, Frank, the no-good contractor renovating my apartment. Frank was less than, well, frank, with people; now someone has made sure he's less than alive. And I think Ray--uh, Detective Fernandez--is starting to wonder about me, since I'm always sticking my nose into his homicide investigations. That could be the reason he keeps coming to question me.... They say God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but I wish He didn't think I could handle so much!

Broken Lullaby ($1.22), by Pamela Tracy

Book Description
Growing up in a mob family had scarred Mary Graham. She'd thought running away would ensure her son didn't face the same horrors. But after three years on the lam, the single mom couldn't live that way anymore. So she'd come back home to Broken Bones, Arizona--and found herself at the center of a baby brokering scandal. To prove her innocence and help a grieving mother, Mary had to turn to her family's nemesis--a cop. And not just any cop...a cop named Mitch Williams. He'd been after her family for years, so could she trust him to have her best interests at heart?

Homecoming at Hickory Ridge ($1.39), by Dana Corbit

Book Description
All eyes are on Kyle Lancaster. Recently released from prison, he is greeted in town with unease. But not by everyone. Julia Sims is focused on his good heart, his hard work at the Hickory Ridge Community Church and their unexpected attraction. At first, Kyle thinks he's her new pet project: reform the bad boy. Yet he soon discovers how much firsthand knowledge Julia has of family problems, forgiveness and second chances. Maybe he'll get his own second chance in Hickory Ridge...and find a place to call home.

Merry Christmas!

12 Days of Free Romance - Day 12

It's the twelfth day of All Romance's 12 Days of Christmas giveaways:

Home for the Holidays, by Sarah Mayberry. Available as many formats: Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Reader, Mobipocket, Epub; you can purchase more than one and get the discount each time.

This one has no "heat index" and the genre is contemporary drama.

Book Description
Joe Lawson has a thing for his new neighbor Hannah Napier. As a single dad, he shouldn't be thinking what he is about her. Still, that doesn't stop them from getting close. And the way she connects with his kids, it's as if they're a family.

Turns out it's too good to be true. Seems Hannah has plans that don't include staying in Melbourne. Joe won't stand between her and her dreams, even though letting her go is nearly impossible. The holidays are looking grim, with him and his kids missing Hannah like crazy. But it is the season of surprises, and Hannah may have one for them!

Free Movie Rental(s) at Amazon

Amazon is giving everyone a four dollar credit towards renting (or buying) anything in their Video on Demand Store. The promotional offer is valid from December 22, 2009 12:00 AM PST through January 3, 2010 11:59 PM PST. You must redeem the code by January 3, 2010 11:59 PM PST.

Click HERE and follow the instructions to register your promo code (AVODGIFT), then you can shop in the store. Once you click on Buy, the credit will automatically be applied to your purchase. Here are a few Christmas rentals you might want to check out:
