If you are new to game downloads, you get a 30 minute free trial for any game (30 minutes of gameplay, which you can stretch out over several sessions, if you want), then can purchase the game. The trick on some of the free and 99 cent downloads, is that the purchase price depends on when you buy the game now when you start the trial, so make sure you do your testing before the discount price ends. I always test the game first (except on free games) to make sure that it will at least run on my netbook and I'd suggest you do the same with the machine you'll be playing on (although you can play on multiple computers, although I'm not sure what the limit is, I've loaded one or two games on three PC's), just to make sure it loads, even for $1 games.
